Michalina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years working in the field of mental health and human services. She received her Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2006 and began her career working with Children Youth Services and Orange County's Welfare to Work Program providing mental health services to children and families in South Orange County.
Michalina rounded out her career in mental health at Pacific Clinics providing services to the Severe and Persistent Mentally Ill with co-occurring disorders where she developed experience and interest working in Substance Abuse. After a 2 year commitment with the American Red Cross working on the Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Project, Michalina returned to South Orange County to focus on mental health and substance abuse where she is Clinical Director at a prominent Orange County treatment facility.
Presently, Michalina divides her time between private practice and in-patient substance abuse/mental health treatment.
