Cancellation Policy

Once an appointment is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless you provide 24 hours advance notice of cancellation (a way to think of it is scheduling an appointment is like buying a ticket to an event). If possible, I will try to find another time to reschedule the appointment within the week, however I cannot guarantee this as my practice is at full capacity. If an appointment is missed or cancelled within the 24 hour period there will be a $75 cancellation fee charged to your credit card (provided below). It is important to understand that your insurance does not cover missed/cancelled appointments, therefore your co-pay does not cover the cost of the missed session. 

My cancellation policy is strict because it is important to me that I provide all of my clients with the most options for available appointment times throughout the week. I cannot do this if I do not have adequate notice of cancelled appointments (available times). Additionally, unlike most medical practices which see 35 patients/day for 15 minutes, I only see 7 to 8 clients/day for 50 minutes, a missed appointment is an entire hour of my available work day. I will always try to send out appointment reminders the day prior to your appointment to help you to remember your appointment or to reschedule if needed.
